Consent to Receive and Receipt of Electronic Disclosures

For your convenience, you may elect to receive Credit Union disclosures electronically. Marine FCU will provide them via links in an email you receive after you open your account. They are located at www.marinefederal.org. You may download and/or print them at any time. The following terms and affirmation indicate your consent to receive and receipt of these disclosures in an electronic format; and your express representation to the Credit Union that you can access, read, download, and/or print the information provided. In this agreement the singular (account owner) includes the plural (account owners).

  1. You consent to access the following disclosures as indicated herein below:
    • Membership, Account, and Account Services
    • Electronic Funds Transfers and Services Agreement
    • Funds Availability
    • Truth-In-Savings Disclosure
    • Privacy Notice
    • Other notices applicable to your account, including but not limited to the eWallet Disclosure and eCheck Deposit User Agreement

    In the future, we may deliver to you other notices and disclosures related to any of the foregoing services together with amendments to this agreement and other agreements/disclosures in an electronic format. Other disclosures may include: deposit account disclosures, notices regarding changes in account terms and fees, non-sufficient funds (NSF) notices, other fees/charges, notice of an account being below par value, inactive account/dormancy notices and privacy notices. Note that this election to receive electronic disclosures does not apply to periodic statements. If you wish to receive periodic statements electronically (eStatements), you must opt-out of paper via MFCU@Home. However, if you elect to receive eStatements, that election will also apply to all other electronic notices as noted herein.

  2. You may request a paper copy of any disclosures or notices that you have agreed to receive electronically by writing, telephoning, or e-mailing us at Marine FCU, Attn: Compliance, PO Box 1551, Jacksonville, NC 28541-1551, 910.577.7333 or 800.225.3967, [email protected]. You may withdraw your consent to receive future electronic disclosures any time by e-mailing us at [email protected]. Your withdrawal will become effective after we have received it and have had a reasonable opportunity to act on your request. A fee may be charged for paper disclosures as disclosed in the Truth-In-Savings Rate and Fee Schedule.
  3. To access the disclosures you have agreed to receive electronically, you will need a computer with Adobe® Acrobat® Reader®. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you may download it free at: www.adobe.com. In order to retain the disclosures, you will need a printer or enough available space to store on your device.

By signing below and by accessing the items/disclosures described electronically, you agree to the terms above and consent to receive the above-described disclosures electronically. You agree that the Credit Union is directed by you to send such disclosures to your e-mail address; and that such disclosures are deemed received by you upon our sending the e-mail contemporaneously with your opening of any accounts and/or services governed by these disclosures and agreements.
