We're a credit union that started with just eight people pooling together $40 to create a financial institution that is different than a bank. As a credit union, we make people a priority in interactions with members as well as business decisions. We believe in living better together with our surrounding communities by giving back through volunteering time, money, or talent to local causes. We are an organization that is committed to serving communities of Marine Corps Installations.
Our Corporate Headquarters is based out of Jacksonville, NC, which lends opportunities for employees to work in various departments or branches. Many of our employees begin their careers in a branch or the Member Interaction Center.

Full Time Financial Advisor- Jacksonville, NC 28546
We are seeking a qualified candidate to serve the financial needs of our membership by identifying financial goals and objectives through face-to-face financial analysis. You will be responsible for identifying appropriate insurance and securities products in order to meet members’ established goals and objectives while developing an appropriate financial plan based on their individual needs. Selected candidate will be assigned an existing book of client business to service and maintain with applicable commissions. This position will have a network of assigned branches to build relationships and assist with referral business.
Job Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong relationships with members by consistently using the prescribed sales process and delivering excellent member service
- Cultivate strong working relationships and trust among credit union staff by conducting regular staff training and attendance/participation at credit union meetings or functions in order to receive consistent referrals
- Meet or exceed Credit Union cross-selling goals as established in the credit union commitment letter
- Meet or exceed individual production goals- with an appropriate product mix
- Present a professional image in all interactions both personally and professionally
- Consistently and effectively utilize all tools, technology, and resources as prescribed by LPL Financial and the Credit Union
- Adhere to all FINRA and insurance rules and regulations, as well as to all company policies
- Follow established policies and procedures of ethical market conduct. Conduct business according to high standards of honesty, fairness, and integrity and render service to members which in the same circumstance we would demand for ourselves
- Continually strive to grow business via Lobby Days, seminars and workshops, execution on system of referrals, segmentation of book of business, etc.
- In collaboration with other pertinent Credit Union personnel, create and execute an annual Marketing Plan
- Attend an participate in sales meetings, virtual and face-to-face, as scheduled
- Other duties as required or assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance or equivalent trade-off in professional work experience is preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful financial services sales experience with verifiable commission history of at least $150,000 Gross Dealer Concessions
- Demonstrated ability to effectively build business relationships with diverse clients
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex information, create and deliver an effective message scaled to the appropriate audience
- Life/Health/Variable Insurance Licenses required
- Series 7, 63/65 or 66 required
- LUTCF, CLU, ChFC, or CFP designations a plus
This is a full time opportunity and will compensate at $40,000 annually, plus commission.

Full Time Mortgage Loan Processor and Closer- Jacksonville, NC
Qualified applicants should have mortgage loan processing and closing experience. In addition, applicants must be professional in dress and manner and possess the ability to accommodate communication with all types of people. Experience and/or knowledge in mortgage underwriting, or a general understanding of secondary market requirements preferred but not required.
The Mortgage Loan Processor-Closer is responsible for, but not limited to gathering and reconciling conditions on mortgage loan files and closings. Basic skills necessary to complete the common tasks of a Processor-Closer include but are not limited to:
-Ability to review and analyze residential and land appraisals
-Calculating and analyzing income and asset documentation of all types to ensure source of funds are adequate
-Ordering and evaluating real estate title insurance binders; analyzing homeowner, wind, hail and flood insurance
-Preparing closing packages, reviewing a LE (Loan Estimate) and CD (closing disclosure); must be familiar with TRID and other mortgage lending regulations
-Loading loans into the mortgage servicing system via a New Loan Interface, understanding internal software systems to include imaging systems
-Calculate and process construction to permanent loan financing draws, process construction conversions, knowledge of how to ensure a lien is perfected
-Prepare and analyze excel spreadsheet reports, analyze GL’s, and communicate the status of the loan with all applicable parties
The Mortgage Processor-Closer is expected to manage pipelines to ensure loan files close by the loan contract and or commitment, financing contingency, and rate expiration dates. Applicants should be self-sufficient, resourceful, reliable, pro-active, service friendly and support the department team efforts and goals. The ideal applicant must possess and maintain an ability and willingness to mentor and cross cross-train co-workers. This position is fast paced requiring the ability to meet deadlines, adapt to quick changing environments, make quick decisions and multi-task consistently. This position involves a high degree of work accuracy, accountability and timely processing to ensure the coordination of processing and closing of mortgages, land, and construction to permanent loans.
This position will compensate at $40,000 annually with a full benefit package available after a 90-day probationary position.
