Marine FCU welcomes you to learn about Cha-Ching, a new way to save more money by simply using your debit card.
How it Works
Step 1: Opt In
Opt in to have your debit card transactions rounded up to the nearest dollar. If you don't have a checking and/or debit card, we'll open them for you!
Eligible checking accounts include:
- Simply Free Checking
- Gunny
Click here to opt in online or stop by a branch.
Step 2: Purchase
Once opted in, begin making purchases with your Marine FCU debit card and we will round up the transaction change to the nearest dollar and automatically transfer it to the savings share of your choice.

Your debit card purchases will round up based on these types of transactions:
- Signature
- Pin Based
- Touchless

ATM transactions are not included. Account must be in good standing. Cha-Ching will normally be available within two (2) business days from your opt in request. Gunny savers with a Gunny Checking account must be 16 or 17 years of age and a parent/legal guardian must opt the Gunny Saver in. Business and Organization Accounts are not eligible.
